Dental Lab started with the
dream of Kobus & Danita
Steyn. Originating from South
Africa, where Kobus obtained
a 4 year diploma in Dental
Technology, they then gained
experience in places such
as Ireland, England, Australia
and South Africa before coming
to Canada.
And thus the birth of Staindent
took place in Canada, where
Kobus used his over 25 years
of experience and training
to bring North American dentists
the quality and skill that
they desire. Kobus has and
continues to attend seminars
and classes with the most
world renown master technicians
allowing him to stay ahead
of the competition.
Danita manages Staindent
Dental Lab full-time and provides
the most amazing customer
service you will ever experience.
She has even driven all night
to deliver a case that she
had promised would be there.
We start with the idea that
nothing is impossible and
everything can be done in
the end
Staindent is a member of
the American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry and also contributes
to the AACD's "Give back
a smile" program in which
dentists, lab technicians,
and other dental professionals
volunteer their time and expertise
pro bono for the National
Coalition Against Domestic
Violence. Staindent is also
a member of the Alberta Association
of Dental Technology (AADT).
Kobus & Danita believe
